ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK

En este vídeos podrás ver uno de los temas considerados como el primeros del nuevo estilo de los años 50 Rock and roll. Este estilo nació en Estados Unidos como una mezcla de la música country blanca con la música Rhythm and blues afroamericana.     Era una música llena de energía y ritmo, destinada a ser bailada y dirigida al público adolescente de la época. 

 Se trata del tema "rock around the clock" de  Bill Haley and the Comets grabado en 1954.

Watching this video you will see the very well-know performance of the Swedish band "ABBA" in the Eurovision Song Contest in the year 1974. With this song "Waterloo" they won that contest and began their path to wordwide fame.
